About me.

  • My name is Monica and I am a freelance digital designer specializing in UI/UX design and Graphic Design & Illustration, based in Cairo, Egypt, with a background in Theatre and Film production and management.

  • I started my design journey in 2015, working as a freelance graphic designer, video editor and photographer. I worked at a digital marketing agency (Mental Media) 2016-2017 and a web development agency (NetServEx) 2020-2024.
    I also worked as a stage manager for a number of theatrical productions from 2018-2023, and as an assistant director in a number of advertisements and film series.

  • I graduated from the American University in Cairo in 2019, with a Bachelors in Film and Theatre Studies.

  • Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Final Cut Pro
